Immanuel Lutheran College is a leading independent private school set against a majestic natural landscape. The College has numerous academic, cultural and sporting scholarships available for entry for students going into Years 6 to 11. These are awarded using objective measurements provided by Edutest.
Located in Buderim in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, Immanuel attracts students from across the Coast and Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Immanuel graduates are identified by their confidence, optimism and respect for healthy relationships. They are highly competent and capable of making a positive contribution to their country and the world, and have a set of values founded in faith, reason and knowledge.

Arts scholarships
Looking for private schools with scholarships near me that are inclusive of the arts? Our program broadens creativity and speaks to the artistic side of our students. These scholarships are awarded for demonstrable excellence in the field (Dance, Drama, Visual Arts, Film & Media). Applications can be made for more than one of the following categories.

The Auricht Music Awards
These prestigious awards were established in 1995 and are granted to emerging primary school students so that they may attend masterclasses, concerts, special events and be provided with tuition.
Music bursaries
Established in 2002, there are four annual bursaries available for students. These go towards fostering development in the musical arts and cover one year of tuition fees. Applications close in the first week of Term One each academic year.
We open our music scholarships to students in Years 7 through 11. Entry is based upon school reports, interviews, auditions and references.
Sports scholarships
Our sports scholarships reward excellence in the sporting area of your child’s choice. Our talented coaches work hard to produce the best possible results and promote and enhance your child’s love of sport. These scholarships are offered from Years 7 to 11. Your child’s current coach must fill out a reference form in addition to your sport scholarship application.

The Dr Matthew Jones University Clinical Aptitude Test Bursary (UCAT)
This award is open to current Year 12 Immanuel students who wish to pursue a medical or dentistry degree at universities that fall under the umbrella of the UCAT consortium. This award is $325 and is designed to cover the cost of sitting the UCAT examination.
