Immanuel inspires children to become well-rounded adults
Immanuel Lutheran College is not just synonymous with excellence in education here on the Sunshine Coast. The ‘Sunny Coast’ community also knows Immanuel for our wonderful cultural events and festivals. We believe in playing a part in the wider Sunshine Coast community, and, in turn, giving our students a broad cultural education.
Home of Sunshine Coast festivals
Immanuel Lutheran College plays host to three of the Sunshine Coast’s most celebrated arts and cultural festivals - Voices on the Coast, the Immanuel Arts Festival and Fruehlingsfest. As a student, your child will not only find opportunities to share their creativity but may choose to gain experience as an AV technician or introducer at Voices on the Coast.
“The Best School Camps on the Sunshine Coast”
Immanuel Lutheran College delivers school camps focused on personal development, independence and self-awareness. Students attend sleepover camps each year starting from Year 3. Year 10 students attend the College’s acclaimed Mt Binga Outdoor Education Centre located outside the town of Blackbutt, where they participate in a month-long program of intensive personal development as part of the school curriculum.
Cultural experiences at Immanuel
We believe the whole person is the whole point. Our performing and visual arts students undertake cultural enrichment excursions in Brisbane to experience world-class performances and iconic art. We believe in raising adults with an understanding and appreciation of the arts to encourage lifelong passions and interests.
Educational and vocational experiences at Immanuel
Immanuel caters for many different interests and talents. As well as the academic, we’ve ensured practical, vocational and hands-on educational experiences that include pathways to careers in a wide range of industries are available.
At Immanuel, students can undertake Certificate II to Certificate IV courses, as well as Diploma level courses as part of their Queensland Certificate of Education.
