The Role
We are seeking passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educators to join a team of capable and confident educators providing quality education and care for children 0-6 years of age at our award-winning Early Learning Centre.
Immanuel Early Learning Centre is purpose-built Centre, set within the beautiful grounds of Immanuel Lutheran College in Buderim, where each child and staff member is important and unique.

Responsibilities
The role includes the following responsibilities:
- Foster the well-being and development of each child through the creation of a secure and supportive environment.
- Contribute ideas to program development and evaluation in order to enhance the quality of service to children and their parents.
- Report to the Service Leader/Lead Educator on matters relating to the health, safety, well-being and development of children in the group.
- Operate as a member of a team in the maintenance of high standards of care in the centre.
- Engage in personal and professional development to ensure the provision of high-quality care and developmental opportunities.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role you will bring the following with you:
- Completed, or be enrolled in, Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or Diploma of Children’s Services courses.
- Possess current Certificate in First Aid and CPR.
- Possess a current Suitability ‘Blue’ Card from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian for working with children.
- Proven ability to work as a team member in a Centre and collaborate with governing bodies to maintain the highest possible standards of care and development.
- Demonstrated commitment to best practice in Early Childhood Education and Care and an ability to work within all legislative frameworks.

Join a supportive Cocurricular Music team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
Applications are being considered for the above positions.
Applicants must be supportive of the aims and Christian ethos of the College.
Requirements of the Position:
- Advanced knowledge of, and performance experience in a instrumental music setting.
- Must be experienced in teaching individual and group lessons in a Primary and Secondary School setting.
- AMEB – AMusA or equivalent performance standard (experience in preparing students for AMEB and TRINITY exams).
- Experience in ensemble direction.
- Multi-instrumentalists are encouraged to apply.
All available positions require the music tutor to be available at various times during school terms on campus after hours for events and performances. Rate of pay is $80 / hour for 2023.

The Role
We are very fortunate to have a dedicated Bus Driver who has been a member of our team for quite some time, but we’d love there to be a backup team member who can step in casually to assist with school bus driving when needed. As such, we are seeking a suitably licensed, experienced, customer-focused, and reliable bus driver who is looking for casual work to join our team.
As a Bus Driver, you will provide a morning and afternoon route between Buderim and the Sunshine Coast hinterland and occasional charters for the College during term time.
We encourage all who are looking for a casual position to supplement semi-retirement or other flexible employment arrangements, are passionate about safe driving, contributing to a school community and enjoy driving to apply.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in the role you will bring the following with you:
- An excellent driving history, with experience driving Heavy Vehicles
- Relevant Drivers Licence (MR or equivalent), a Drivers Accreditation and current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Safe driving and passenger safety are your number one priority, always
- Be patient and tolerant with children
- Be a role model and ambassador for the College and its ethos.
