Sport Scholarships - for entry in 2022

Sport Scholarships are offered to students entering Years 10 & 11. These scholarships are awarded for demonstrated excellence in Sport. Entry for applicants is subject to their school record, interview and references. For further information, refer to the Scholarship Guidelines.

Please direct the student's coach to complete the Coaches Reference form below. If the student has multiple coaches, each coach must complete a separate reference form. Please ensure a reference is completed per sport application.

Immanuel Lutheran College Foundation Scholarships (Years 10 & 11) for 2022

Academic Scholarships 2022 

A limited number of academic scholarships are available for entry into Years 6 through to 11. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of an academic examination using objective measures provided by Edutest. For further information refer to the Scholarship Guidelines.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP COVER SHEET

Cost: $100 per applicant.

Testing date is on the 22 May 2021.  Applications close on 14 May 2021.  When you have registered the candidate with Edutest you will need to complete an Academic Scholarship Cover Sheet and submit this form along with copies of the candidate's last two academic reports, NAPLAN and any other relevant information.

 

Arts Scholarships - for entry in 2022

Arts Scholarships are offered to students entering Years 7 through to 11. These scholarships are awarded for demonstrated excellence in the Arts (Dance, Drama, Visual Art and Film & Media). Eligibility criteria is outlined in the Scholarship Guidelines. Please note candidates can apply for more than one of the categories.

Music Scholarships - for entry in 2022 

Music Scholarships are offered to students entering Years 7 through to 11. These scholarships are awarded for demonstrated excellence in Music. The Vic Walker Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1999.

This scholarship is awarded to a Year 12 graduate of Immanuel Lutheran College who undertakes to complete their degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Depending on the program of study, the scholarship is valued up to $11,000 and covers student tuition fees (HECS) in the first year of study. Applications for 2021 are due by 5.00pm on Friday 29 January.

The Shane Hill Memorial Rugby Scholarship

Shane Hill was a student of Immanuel College who was tragically killed in a work accident shortly after leaving school. He has a real passion for Rugby, and in his memory, his family have generously donated this scholarship. It is open to Year 8 & 9 students who have a passion for Rugby, just as Shane had.  The recipients (usually two) will be given the opportunity to attend a week-long Rugby Training Camp over the Christmas Vacation.  All that is required is that you write in 50 words or less why you would be a worthy recipient of such a prestigious award.

Venue: University of New England in Armidale, NSW

Scholarship covers: Cost of Registration, includes accommodation (own room) and all meals

Please note that the cost of travel to and from the camp is at the recipient’s expense.

The Auricht Music Awards

Established in 1995.

These awards are granted to emerging Immanuel Primary School students of music to attend Master Classes/concerts/tuition/special events. 


Music Bursaries

Established in 2002 (Four Annual Bursaries).

Bursaries are awarded to foster development in the area of music and cover music tuition fees for one year. Applications close in Week 1 of Term One each academic year.

The Dr Matthew Jones University Clinical Aptitude Test Bursary (UCAT)

The Dr Matthew Jones UCAT Bursary is open to Year 12 Immanuel students who wish to gain entry to undergraduate medicine and dentistry degree programs at universities which are part of the UCAT consortium. The bursary is worth $300.00 and goes towards covering the cost of sitting the UCAT exam.
