This summer has been like no other with bushfires destroying much of Australia's native habitat. Animals are in peril and parents are doing their best to comfort distressed children.

One little girl who decided she could make a difference, is 6-year-old Immanuel Year 1 student, Emmy O'H. Emmy created a small cookie stall on her street and with the help of social media and some lovely neighbours, raised $850.00.

Emmy chose to donate her funds to the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital as she has been very concerned for the wildlife affected by the bushfires. Thank you, Emmy. Your kindness is an inspiration for us all.
