The fun of the fair will arrive at Immanuel Lutheran College on Saturday with Fruehlingsfest! Now in its 38th year, Fruehlingsfest is well known in the local community for family favourites like the German Bakery and international cuisine. Did you know that Fruehlingsfest means spring fair in German?

Organised by Immanuel’s Parents & Friends Community, there will be something for everyone. Food stalls are always a highlight as are the very popular rides.

“The Round Up is back! Along with the Dodgem Cars, Cup and Saucer and Frog Hopper rides for the littlies, Laser Skirmish, Bouncy Castle, Rock Climbing Wall, Giant Obstacle Course, Super Slide and so much more. There will also be live entertainment on stage during the whole event,” said Principal Colin Minke.

“Also on offer will be the Book Stall, the ever popular Cake Walk, Crazy Hair Stall, Photo Zone and Fairy Floss, High Tea, Dunk the Teacher, Second-hand Land and Plant Stall.

“This year, we’re also offering a trailer raffle with $10,000 worth of prizes. Raffle tickets for $5.00 each will be sold on the day and as well as a silent auction, the Monster Trailer Raffle offers visitors a fantastic chance to pick up some great prizes including an Oz Pig BBQ, Fishing Espri kayak, a 12-month internet package and restaurant and accommodation packages,” he said.

Ride bands can be purchased for $35.00 online at https://www.immanuel.qld.edu.au/news-events/fruehlingsfest or on the day for $45.00.

The event runs from 2.00pm until 8.00pm at ILC, 126-142 Wises Road, Buderim.
