To ensure a smooth and happy transition for your child, we kindly ask you to complete each step outlined below. Each stepβno matter how smallβplays an important role in helping your child feel confident, calm and ready to thrive from their very first day.
By completing all steps, youβll be equipping both your child and our team with everything needed to provide the very best start to school life at Immanuel. STARTING DATES FOR ALL NEW STUDENTS
Year 7:Β Tuesday 27 January β Full school day β¨(8.25 am β 3.10 pm)
Years 8 – 11:Β Tuesday 27 January β Orientation half day β¨(9.00 am β 11.30 am)
– Meet in front of Innovation Hub (beside CafΓ© on the Green)
– Wear House uniform
– Bring stationery and College lock
– Morning tea provided
– More information regarding orientation will be emailed closer to the date
Year 12:Β Tuesday 27 January β Full school day including RAVE Retreat
- All current students will attend from Wednesday 28 January
SECONDARY SCHOOL HOURS
Secondary School runs from 8.25 am to 3.10pm
College Shop
The College Shop has everything your family needs to start the year confidently:
- Full uniform range (formal & sport)
- School bags and accessories
- House spirit merchandise
Uniform Fitting Appointments
All new students must book a 30-minute uniform fitting. Families with 3β4 children should book a 1.5-hour session.
House Group Allocation
All students are placed into one of four Houses:
- Bribie (Red β Kangaroo)
- Moreton (Green β Crocodile)
- Stradbroke (Blue β Shark)
- Kβgari (Yellow β Dingo)
Siblings and children of alumni are placed in the same House. Allocation is confirmed at your fitting appointment.
Booklist & Stationery
- Year 7-12: No need to place an order β all stationery and textbook supplies are provided by the College and included in the fees.
Lockers
Lockers will be allocated either at the Orientation Day or in Week 1. All students require a College-approved lock (available at the College Shop).Β
The College will issue all student devices, which are incorporated into your fees, as a 1:1 rental program (over three years). Please note BYO deviceΒ is not an option.Β New Secondary students will receive their device(s) during their orientation or first day of school.
To help your child get started smoothly, please make sure youβve read the Secondary School Acceptable Technology and Device Use Guidelines and completed the Device Agreement.Β
Also, please take a moment to ensure your child understands their device responsibilities so they can use it safely and respectfully.
Devices will only be issued once this agreement has been submitted.
CafΓ© on the Green is open to both students and families. You’re welcome to stop by before or after school to grab a coffee, connect with others, or simply enjoy the campus atmosphere.
Payment Options
- EFTPOS accepted (no mobile phone payments)
- Student ID Card – set up via Flexischools
- Β Order recess/lunch via Flexischools before 9:00 am
Set Up a Cashless Card
Once your child receives their Student ID card, link their details in the Flexischools app and set daily spend limits if needed.

We encourage all parents to take a moment to review the current handbook to better understand how we work together to support your child.
Drop-and-Go and Parking
- Parent Designated Parking: Available near the Worship Centre (entry via Wises Road/Paveway Drive) or Rim Road.
- Primary School Drop-and-Go: Use the Worship Centre or Rim Road area and remain in your vehicle when dropping students off.
- Please do not park in The Early Learning Centre (ELC) car park in front of the Main Administration Office (this is strictly reserved for Immanuel Early Learning Centre families).
Staggered Car Park Collection Times
To assist with safe pick up we have staggered collection times.
If your oldest child is in:
- Prep – 2.55pm
- Years 1 and 2 – 3.00pm
- Years 3 and 4 – 3.10pm
- Years 5 and 6 – 3.20pm
- Years 7 to 12 – 3.20pm
Bus Travel
You may be eligible for assistance through the School Transport Assistance Scheme.

Maleny via Landsborough Bus Service
For families living in or near Maleny, Immanuel Lutheran College offers a dedicated bus service via Landsborough, making it easy and convenient for students to travel to and from the College.
Flexible options to suit your family’s needs.
Choose the payment plan that works best for you:
- Β Annual paymentΒ β includes an early bird discount
- Β Semester billingΒ β pay in two instalments
- Β Direct debitΒ β weekly or fortnightly automatic payments
Keeping us informed helps us support your child.
Please follow the steps below based on the length of your childβs absence:
- 1β2 Days: Notify via the College App. We also have an Absentee Line if you are unable to access the App at the time: Ph: 07Β 5477 3459
- 3β9 Days:Β Please contact Secondary Office prior to the absenceΒ for applicable forms Email: [email protected]
- 10+ Days:Β Prior approval must be obtained from the Principal for extended absences over 10 daysΒ via the Application of Exception form (link below).
Our Secondary School hours are from 8:25 am to 3:10 pm.
To assist with safe pick up we have staggered collection times from the car park for all secondary students from 3.20pm.
Use the College App before 8:00 am to log late arrivals/or early departures. All Secondary students must sign in/out at theΒ Student ServicesΒ office.
Our dedicated wellbeing team is here to walk alongside your childβoffering support, guidance and care whenever it’s needed.
Students can self-refer, or parents can submit a referral on their behalf.
All new students will have their Student Photo ID taken early in Week 1. Once the photography company provides the printed ID cards which are kept in the library for book borrowing.Should you require a Student ID card for any reason please contact the Secondary School office.
