At Immanuel, academic results tell only part of the story.

The Class of 2025 leave our College not just with qualifications and offers in hand, but as thoughtful, capable and compassionate young adults, ready for the next chaper of life. This cohort contibuted richly to our community, strenghtening our culture through leadership, service, kindness and genuine care for one another. Their impact will be felt long after their final day on campus.

While outcomes matter, who our students become matters more. The results below reflect years of commitment, perserverance and growth, supported by strong relationships between students, teachers and families.

Results That Tell a Story

All graduating students chose to share their academic outcomes with the College. This allows us to celebrate the achievements of the entire cohort, rather than highlight a select few. It reflects a culture where success is collective, diverse and deeply personal.

The class of 2025 achieved outstanding results across a wide range of pathways:
  • 26% of students achieved an ATAR of 90 or above
  • 44% of students received an ATAR of 85 or above
  • Median ATAR of 82.75 across the entire cohort
  • Six students awarded QCAA Academic Commendations
  • Seven students awarded QCAA Subject Achievement Commendations
  • 100% QCE attainmnent for the seventh consecutive year
  • Nine 100% overall subject results
  • 22 instances of 100% results in external examinations
  • 25 instances of 100% results in internal assessments
  • 93 students awarded one or more VET qualifications
  • 50% of eligible students received early tertiary offer

Celebrating Our Top Achievers

Academic excellent rarely happens overnight. The achievements of the Class of 2025 tells a deeper story of perserverance, growth and learning, and of a cohort who have become confident, compassionate and capable young adults.

Daniel Squirrell

We congratulate Daniel Squirrel, College Dux for 2025, on his outstanding academic achievement across his senior studies.

Daniel has received an early offer to study a double degree in Advanced Science at the Australian National University and has also applied for the ANU PhB Program, a highly selective pathway that would allow him to pursue a future in medical research.
 

CeRTIFICATE OF ACADEMIC COMMENDATION

Each of the students below received an Academic Commendation from the QCAA, awarded for achieving straight A grades in at least six General subjects, an outstanding academic achievement.

ALEX SIMPSON

Alex achieved outstanding results, including 100% internal results in Specialist Mathematics and Mathematical Methods, alongside overall achievement across all six General subjects.

OLIVIA ZWART

Olivia achieved a 100% subject result in Film, Television & New Media and demonstrated consistent excellence with overall achievement across all six General subjects.

OLYA IGNATOVICH

Olga achieved overall achievement across all six General subjects, reflecting sustained effort and academic consistency throughout her senior studies.

RILEY WALSH

Riley achieved 100% subject results in Music and Music Extension (Performance), alongside overall achievement across all six General subjects.

TAMSIN LINNETT

Tamsin achieved 100% overall subject results in Drama and Modern History, 100% internal results in Film, Television & New Media and Biology, and overall achievement across all six General subjects.

WILLIAM SIMPSON

William achieved 100% internal results in Mathematical Methods, Chemistry and Film, Television and New Media, as well as overall achievement across all six General subjects.

 

SUBJECT ACHIEVEMENT COMMENDATION

The following students received a Subject Achievement Commendation from the QCAA, awarded to students who achieve the highest result in at least one General or General (Extension) subject.

BIANCA HUNTER

Bianca achieved a 100% internal result in Music and a 100% overall subject result in Music Extension (Performance).

MAGGIE FORD

Maggie achieved 100% overall subject results in both internal and external assessments for Music and Music Extension (Performance).

MECKENZIE STANIEG

Olivia achieved a 100% overall subject result in Film, Television and New Media.

MILLA DAMSGAARD

Milla achieved a 100% internal result in Legal Studies, along with 100% results in the external examinations for Business and Literature.

FUTURE READY

Pathways with purpose

The Class of 2025 is stepping into the future with confidence, clarity and a strong sense of direction. Our graduates are pursuing a wide range of pathways that reflect their strengths, interests and aspirations. Graduates from the Class of 2025 are now moving into pathways including:

  • University degrees in business, accounting and commerce
  • Health and care professions, including paramedicine and occupational therapy
  • Arts and creative disciplines, with outstanding achievements across music, drama, film and performance
  • Law and humanities-based studies
  • Apprenticeships, employment and further vocational training.

Together, these pathways reflect a cohort that is both academically capable and practically prepared. With 93 students awarded one or more VET qualifications and 50% of eligible students receiving early tertiary offers, the Class of 2025 leaves Immanuel equipped with skills, confidence and clarity about what comes next.

There is no single definition of success at Immanuel. Each pathway is valued, each journey is respected, and every student is supported to pursue a future that aligns with who they are and what matters most to them.

Leaders Reflect

Principal Eloise Beveridge shared her pride in the cohort:

“Congratulations to our Year 12 graduates on their outstanding academic results. We celebrate their hard work and commitment while also recognising the diverse skills, talents and strengths that make each student an individual. The Class of 2025 has contributed richly to the life of our College, and we are grateful for the positive impact they have had on our community. We look forward with pride and optimism as they take their next steps and begin shaping their futures.”

“This cohort has shaped our community through their kindness, commitment and the way they supported one another.”

Head of Secondary School Nick Cheyne added:

“The graduates of 2024 are a talented and hard-working group. I acknowledge their academic commitment this year and thank the teachers and support staff who guided them during their time at Immanuel. The graduates demonstrated a love of learning and academic success, while also proving to be leaders of school spirit and possess a heart for social justice.”

Looking ahead, Mr Cheyne reflected:

“As they move into a wide range of pathways, I am confident these graduates will make meaningful contributions wherever life takes them. It has been a privilege to witness their growth over the course of their secondary years, and I thank them for the role they have played in shaping Immanuel during their time with us.”
