IMMANUEL FOOTBALL club

ABOUT THE CLUB
immanuel football club
Immanuel Football Club (IFC) competes in the Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association (SCCSA) and caters for players from Prep to Year 12 (U6 to U17/18). The club proudly welcomes both Immanuel Lutheran College students and players from the wider community.
At IFC, football is about more than the game. We promote fun, fitness and friendships, while developing soccer skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love of sport in a supportive and inclusive environment.
COMMUNITY-LED
CLUB MANAGEMENT & VOLUNTEER SUPPORT
Immanuel Football Club is run entirely by a passionate team of parent volunteers. This includes the club committee (President, Secretary, Treasurer and other roles), as well as team coaches and managers.
Our volunteers coordinate all aspects of club life, including:
- Training schedules and team organisation
- Home game operations and canteen services
- Communication, events, and end-of-season celebrations
Their commitment ensures a smooth, well-run club and a positive experience for players and families. The club operates in close alignment with Immanuel Lutheran College’s mission and values, with a strong emphasis on community, sportsmanship and personal growth.
SHARED RESPONSIBILITY
PARENT AND PLAYER INVOLVEMENT
- The success of Immanuel Football Club relies on the active involvement of families. Each family contributes through shared volunteer roles that help keep the club running smoothly. Opportunities to be involved include:
- Game Day Operations – Setting up and packing down fields, assisting in the canteen, and managing grounds during home games.
- Coaching and Team Management: – We know Parents are encouraged to volunteer as coaches or team managers, ensuring every team has strong leadership.
- Committee Roles: – With Parent's help we can sustain the club’s long-term operations.
This collaborative approach builds strong relationships and creates a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

Yes! Please stay tuned for more information on our Facebook page.
We have teams from Under 6s upwards, and we even have an amazing Dad’s Team!
Training days are determined by volunteer coaches. If the selected day is not suitable, there may be opportunities to train with another team. All training sessions are held onsite at an ILC oval.
Game day is Saturday. Matches are played at various clubs across the Sunshine Coast. Fixtures are determined by the Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association and will be communicated in March.
Registrations are currently open. Teams will be allocated during Term 1, 2025, and team details will be communicated via email.
Under 6s to Under 10s play non-competitive Rooball. We encourage diverse teams with a range of skill levels. From Under 11s onwards, games are competitive and grading may occur.
We will endeavour to place female players into all-girls teams where possible. Team availability depends on registration numbers. All-girls teams compete against other all-girls teams.
Families may nominate one preferred teammate. We will do our best to accommodate these requests, however this cannot be guaranteed.
If an all-girls team is not available, girls will be placed into a mixed team. If no team can be allocated at all, a refund will be provided.
We cannot guarantee this will be possible. We encourage open communication with the committee and flexibility to welcome new players. Final team selections are the responsibility of the committee.
Where possible, we aim to maintain team consistency, however teams may not be identical to the previous year.
Yes, FairPlay vouchers can be used. Please complete your registration using a credit card, then email your voucher and bank details to the Treasurer to receive a refund.
Parents! We have some fantastic training opportunities planned, and no prior soccer experience is required. If you’re interested, please get in touch.
