There’s something powerful about being part of a community that shows up for each other. At Immanuel, that spirit lives in everything we do. In the cheers on the sidelines. In the quiet encouragement between classmates. In the pride our students feel when they wear their colours. We call it the Immanuel Flames. It’s our shared identity. And it’s something every student becomes part of from day one.

The face of our spirit

Every strong community needs a symbol. Someone who brings people together and lifts the energy. That’s Ignite. Bright, bold and full of life, Ignite represents the heart of Immanuel. You’ll see him at carnivals, concerts, assemblies and game days, bringing the energy and helping create moments students will remember long after they graduate. But Ignite is more than a mascot. He’s a reminder of who we are when we stand together.

A story of light

Flames have long been part of our story at Immanuel. From candlelit milestones at the end of Year 12 to the everyday moments of care, kindness and support across our campus, light has always symbolised who we are. It connects to our College motto, ‘Walk as Children of the Light’, and reflects our belief that every student brings their own unique light into our community. Immanuel Flames is our shared identity and a visible reminder that every student’s light matters. God loves each one of us for who we are. The Immanuel Flames carry that story forward in a way our students can see, feel and be part of every day.
