Academic Scholarships 2020
A limited number of academic scholarships are available for entry into
Years 6 through to 12. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of an academic
examination using objective measures provided by the Australian Council for
Educational Research (ACER). For further information refer to the Scholarship Guidelines.

When you have registered the candidate with ACER you will need to complete an Academic Scholarship Cover Sheet and submit this form along with copies of the candidate's last two academic reports, NAPLAN and any other relevant information. Once completed, please save the PDF form and email it to email@example.com.
Music Scholarship - for entry in 2020
Music Scholarships are offered to students entering Years 7 through to
12. These scholarships are awarded for demonstrated excellence in Music.
Entry for applicants is subject to their school record, interview, audition
and references. For further information refer to the Scholarship

Sport Scholarship - for entry in 2020
Sport Scholarships are offered to students entering Years 7 through to 12. These scholarships are awarded for demonstrated excellence in Sport. Entry for applicants is subject to their school record, interview and references. For further information refer to the Scholarship Guidelines.

Arts Scholarship - for entry in 2020
Arts Scholarships are offered to students
entering Years 7 through to 12. These scholarships are awarded for
demonstrated excellence in the Arts (Dance, Drama, Visual Art and Film &
Media). Eligibility criteria is outlined in the Scholarship
Guidelines. Please note candidates can apply for more than one of the

The Vic Walker Memorial Scholarship
This Scholarship is awarded to a Year 12 Graduate of Immanuel Lutheran College who undertakes to complete their degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Depending on the program of study, the scholarship is valued between $4,500-$9,000 and covers student tuition fees (HECS) for up to eight courses in the first year of study.
The Shane Hill Memorial Rugby Scholarship
Shane Hill was a student of Immanuel College who was tragically killed in a work accident shortly after leaving school. He has a real passion for Rugby, and in his memory, his family have generously donated this scholarship. It is open to Year 8 & 9 students who have a passion for Rugby, just as Shane had. The recipients (usually two) will be given the opportunity to attend a week-long Rugby Training Camp over the Christmas Vacation. All that is required is that you write in 50 words or less why you would be a worthy recipient of such a prestigious award.

Scholarship covers: Cost of Registration, includes accommodation (own room) and all meals

The Auricht Music Awards
These awards are granted to emerging Immanuel Junior School students of
music to attend Master Classes/concerts/tuition/special events.
Established in 2002 (Four Annual Bursaries)
Bursaries are awarded to foster development in the area of music and cover music tuition fees for one year. Applications close in Week 1 of Term 1 each academic year.
The Dr Matthew Jones University Clinical Aptitude Test Bursary (UCAT)
The Dr Matthew Jones UCAT Bursary is open to Year 12 Immanuel students who wish to gain entry to undergraduate medicine, dentistry and health science degree programs at universities which are part of the UCAT consortium. The bursary covers a component of the cost of registration for the UCAT up to $300.00. For further information, contact the Careers Adviser Mrs Lyn Druery.
