Competition & Values
Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association (SCCSA)
The SCCSA provides a supportive pathway for players from U6 to U17/18 — beginning with the fun, skill-building Roo-ball format and progressing to full competition from U11 onwards.
The SCCSA is founded on values that matter:
- Inclusive opportunities for players of all abilities
- Respect, teamwork and fair play on and off the field
- High standards for referees and match officials
- A safe, positive and family-friendly environment
Key Information you’ll find on the SCCSA site includes:
- Age groups and eligibility
- Playing up and age dispensation
- Association policies and procedures
- Competition rules
- Codes of Behaviour for players, coaches and parents
At Immanuel, we embrace these values wholeheartedly, creating a football experience that is both competitive and respectful — where every child feels supported to grow in skill, confidence and community.

Yes! Please stay tuned for more information on our Facebook page.
We have teams from Under 6s upwards, and we even have an amazing Dad’s Team!
Training days are determined by volunteer coaches. If the selected day is not suitable, there may be opportunities to train with another team. All training sessions are held onsite at an ILC oval.
Game day is Saturday. Matches are played at various clubs across the Sunshine Coast. Fixtures are determined by the Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association and will be communicated in March.
Registrations are currently open. Teams will be allocated during Term 1, 2025, and team details will be communicated via email.
Under 6s to Under 10s play non-competitive Rooball. We encourage diverse teams with a range of skill levels. From Under 11s onwards, games are competitive and grading may occur.
We will endeavour to place female players into all-girls teams where possible. Team availability depends on registration numbers. All-girls teams compete against other all-girls teams.
Families may nominate one preferred teammate. We will do our best to accommodate these requests, however this cannot be guaranteed.
If an all-girls team is not available, girls will be placed into a mixed team. If no team can be allocated at all, a refund will be provided.
We cannot guarantee this will be possible. We encourage open communication with the committee and flexibility to welcome new players. Final team selections are the responsibility of the committee.
Where possible, we aim to maintain team consistency, however teams may not be identical to the previous year.
Yes, FairPlay vouchers can be used. Please complete your registration using a credit card, then email your voucher and bank details to the Treasurer to receive a refund.
Parents! We have some fantastic training opportunities planned, and no prior soccer experience is required. If you’re interested, please get in touch.
